With FRED ASTAIRE it was effortless agility and GRACE.
The music of GEORGE GERSHWIN will live forever. There was only one FRED ASTAIRE. The performances immortalised on this CD are the result of an artistic partnership between the son of a well-to-do Austrian immigrant from the mid-west and the son of a poor Jewish immigrant from Brooklyn. What they produced was indeed "Nice Work" - and we got it, for ALWAYS.
